To report a non-emergency crime you can:

Use our minicom service on 01245 452828. The minicom service is a typewriter device that allows people certified deaf or with hearing or speech problems to contact the police.

The nearest police station is in Saffron Walden, where officers are based in the Uttlesford District Council Council Offices, London Road, Saffron Walden CB11 4ER.

Please arrive by 4.30pm (4pm on Fridays) to ensure we have time to resolve your enquiry before the station closes.
Community Policing Team
​
The Braintree and Uttlesford Community Policing Team is made up of police officers, police Community Support Officers and Specials under the command of an Inspector and a Chief Inspector District Commander. The team aims to protect people from harm, speak with communities about their concerns, gather information and help find answers to local problems.
